Dear Friends,

As we come to the end of our retreat on The Hidden Life of Nazareth, I simply want to thank each of you for making these weeks such a grace.

Your presence is a gift, but even more so your prayerfulness, your thoughtful comments, your honest questions, and the generosity with which you listen to one another. Time and again I find that what nourishes these gatherings is not simply the reflections that are offered, but the spirit in which we journey together.

I often say that I am not simply leading these retreats but walking beside you as a fellow pilgrim. That has been especially true throughout this series. Our time together has nourished me beyond measure, deepened my own prayer, and strengthened my confidence that God continues to draw hearts into the silence and hiddenness of Nazareth.

Thank you for your openness, your faith, and your companionship along the way. Please continue to pray for me as I will continue to pray for each of you.

May the hidden Christ of Nazareth draw us ever more deeply into the Father’s love and teach us to find Him in the quiet faithfulness of each ordinary day.
